One of the most influential names in pop music history is making a monumental return to the global stage. Following months of speculation and a hyper-viral performance at the Coachella festival, BIGBANG have officially announced the dates for a massive 31-show international stadium tour to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
The promoter, AEG Presents, confirmed the full itinerary on Thursday, 11 June 2026. The announcement marks the group’s first formal concert tour since 2017, plotting a comprehensive path across Asia, North America, Europe, and Australia over the next several months.
Shifting the K-Pop Landscape
Originally formed by YG Entertainment in August 2006 as a five-piece group, BIGBANG are widely credited with expanding the international reach of South Korean pop music. The current lineup consisting of G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG reunited as a trio following a prolonged hiatus, during which former members Seungri and T.O.P departed the project under different circumstances.
The group has broken numerous commercial records, becoming the first K-pop act to enter the Billboard 200 chart with their album ALIVE reaching number 150 in 2012. A representative for the label stated that the production team is channeling every effort into the 2026 staging, promises a monumental performance setup that spans the past, present, and future of the genre. Official ticketing details and the formal title for the 20th-anniversary stadium tour will arrive at a later date.
