Megan Skiendiel, a member of the multinational pop group KATSEYE, has publicly addressed an incident of inappropriate touching during the European leg of the band’s “The Wildworld” tour.
Speaking directly to the group’s global audience before their scheduled appearance in Amsterdam, the singer detailed what happened during their recent performance in Paris on 9 September.

During the track “Time Lapse”, group members routinely step off the main stage to walk along the aisles, greet audience members, and hold hands with attendees. While walking through the crowded floor section in Paris, an attendee grabbed her chest, leaving her startled and distressed mid-performance.
Setting Clear Physical Boundaries
Video clips recorded by concertgoers quickly spread across online networks, showing the vocalist looking visibly shaken as she navigated through the audience barricades. Additional video from the same sequence showed attendees grabbing at other performers, including an instance where someone pulled member Daniela’s hair.
Megan chose to address the situation directly on social channels to prevent similar behaviour at future tour stops. She acknowledged the natural excitement that comes when artists walk into the crowd, while stating plainly that physical violations cannot happen under any circumstances.

The singer emphasised that she wants the interactive segment to remain safe and enjoyable for everyone so KATSEYE can continue sharing close moments with their supporters.
