Joe Biden is seeking racial equality for Asian Americans following Trump’s anti-China rhetoric.

On Tuesday Biden took action with four executive orders addressing racial equality. One in particular called for providing the Justice Department with more guidance to rack hate crimes and harassment of Asian Americans.

Referring to the increase in anti-Asian American attacks, the President said, “this is unacceptable and it’s un-American.”

The Department of Health and Human Services and other federal agencies were also called upon to remove xenophobic policies which may have been introduced during the Trump administration.

Biden also tasked the health department to provide language and cultural guidance with relation to Coronavirus and vaccines.

“I ran for president to restore the soul of this nation,” Biden said. “And the simple truth is: Our soul will be troubled as long as systemic racism is allowed to persist. We can’t eliminate everything, but it’s corrosive, it’s destructive and it’s costly.”

“For too long, we’ve allowed a narrow, cramped view of the promise of this nation to fester,” he said. “We’ve bought the view that America is a zero-sum game in many cases: If you succeed, I fail. If you get ahead, I fall behind. If you get the job, I lose mine. Maybe worst of all, if I hold you down, I lift myself up.”

Although Trump has since stated that the virus is “not the fault of Asian Americans”, he came under fire for repeatedly referring to the virus as “Chinese”.

In both farewell and sendoff speeches, Trump referred to ‘China Virus’ for the final times.

In other news, images of Biden’s Asian Secret Service muscle sent the internet spiralling into wild conspiracy theories.
