Emma Raducanu has thanked her Chinese fans in Mandarin after winning the US Open.

“Hi, everyone.” Raducanu said on video message. “I wanna say thank you to you guys and I hope you could enjoy my tennis. I’m thrilled to win. Love you all, see you.”

The clip shared by China state media CGTN has been viewed over 1.3 million times.

Raducanu, who’s mother is Chinese and father is Romanian, was born in Toronto but grew up in the UK.
