NBA star Steph Curry and his wife Ayesha have donated $25,000 to a struggling pho restaurant.

Appearing on The Tamron Hall Show, the couple presented Monster Pho owner Tee Tran with a $25,000 check.

“He hits the ground every morning with gratitude and finds a way to keep pushing,” Curry said of the Oakland restaurant owner. “And I love that spirit. It’s something I want to embody as well.”

Tran lost 75% of his business due to the Coronavirus pandemic and even put his home on forbearance.

Nonetheless, Tran donated over 24,000 meals for seniors in his community.

“I’m just juggling, trying to figure out every day,” Tran said. “I know it’s tough for me, but it’s tough for everybody. You just keep on pushing. I don’t want people feeling sorry for me. We just don’t do that. We just got to work hard and help people.”

Tran is now working with the Currys’ charitable organization Eat, Learn, Play as well as providing meals through World Central Kitchen.

In other news, Kim’s Convenience star Simu Liu has donated a Playstation 5 and $1000 to a family who lost their mother to cancer.
