Sandra Oh has been nominated for the third straight year for her role as Eve Polastri in Killing Eve.

Oh is once again up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and continues to be the most nominated Asian performer.

Killing Eve is nominated for another six awards including nominations for Jodie Comer and Fiona Shaw.

In 2018, Oh was the first Asian Canadian woman to be nominated as a lead actress in the Emmys and was nominated multiple times last year.

Although Oh is yet to actually win an Emmy, she won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama in 2019.

However,  Killing Eve recently came under fire for a lack of diversity in the writers’ room. Season 4’s writers are predominantly female, but all white.

Oh herself also criticised the UK for being “behind” the US in terms of diversity on film and TV sets.
