Two new Oreo flavours are being launched in China: wasabi and hot chicken wing.

Oreo has just launched two rather unconventional flavours – wasabi and hot chicken wing.

Released only in China (for now), the two new flavours join the growing list of odd flavours trialed by the cookie company.

Kettle corn, cherry cola, fireworks and Peeps were all recent new Oreo flavours.

Mondelez International confirmed the launch of the “two new big and bold flavours” in a tweet.

“Innovation sensation: just launched two new BIG and BOLD flavors in : Hot Chicken Wing and Wasabi!” the tweet read.

Commenters have expressed their disbelief.

“I can’t believe this is real,” one tweeter responded. “Make it stop”

“Thank the lord I’m going to China in October,” wrote another. “Bringing these back to offend my friends in the UK. Last time it was the durian sweets.”
