BTS have released a highlight reel for their upcoming Love Yourself series.

The Korean Herald describes the upcoming series as “a collection of music under a single concept”, which is set to be released with an album in September.

Uploaded by the K-pop group’s agency Big Hit Entertainment on their official YouTube channel, the video teases hints about the series.

It seems that short love stories revolving around the group’s members is the focus of the series. The Korean characters for “start” or “arise” are featured in the title.

Lumpens, who has directed a number of BTS’ music videos in the past, is also directing the series.

“We were planning to reveal part of the ‘BTS-verse’ through the highlight reel. As was the case for all of the other BTS albums, the story will have a message that (BTS) wants to deliver to Korean society,” said an official from Big Hit.

A few days ago, BTS were awarded their first Teen Choice Award but fans were frustrated with the ceremony’s poor reception of the group.
