Louisa is a British-born Chinese Malaysian with a case of the diasporic blues. As a result, she likes to explore how the displacement of East and South East Asian identities is presented in film and literature. Having grown up on a steady diet of action movies, fantasy, and comics, she also enjoys picking Hollywood apart when they get Asian representation wrong, and being pleasantly surprised when they get it right.
