Quentin Tarantino has cast Mike Moh as Bruce Lee in his upcoming film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

According to Indie Wire, Mike Moh has been cast as Bruce Lee in the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Set for release on 26 July 2019, the film will be Tarantino’s ninth feature and will star Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino and Dakota Fanning.

Moh is known for his TV roles in Empire and Inhumans as well as playing Ryu in web series Street Fighter.

Commemorating the 45th anniversary of Bruce Lee’s death, Moh tweeted, “it’s been 45 years since this man passed. #brucelee has inspired me in so many ways… Martial arts, acting, his philosophies on life. But look at the loving way he looked at his children. I know the exact feeling he felt ❤️ RIP Bruce. Walk on”

Moh also uploaded a training video tribute to the martial arts actor in 2015 featuring some of Lee’s most iconic stunts.. “He has been an inspiration to me and so many others around the world,” Moh wrote at the beginning of the video. “He transcended ethnicity, he showed us how amazing it is to be a part of the human race.”

The actor also released another YouTube tribute to Lee six years ago. “Be water, my friends,” Moh’s description reads. “Inspired by the best martial artist to have ever lived, Bruce Lee.”
