The North American leg of TWICE’s “THIS IS FOR” world tour has officially concluded, and the numbers confirm what fans already knew: the group is operating on a different level. After playing a massive 35 shows across 20 cities, the K-pop sensation has pulled in a staggering 550,000 concertgoers. This massive turnout sets a brand-new attendance record for any K-pop girl group in North America.

It is a significant expansion from their original schedule. The group initially planned for 22 shows, but overwhelming demand led to the addition of 13 more dates. The result is a tour that hasn’t just satisfied existing fan bases but has expanded their reach across the continent.

The sheer scale of the tour reflects the group’s massive growth. Playing 20 different cities suggests a level of market saturation rarely seen by international acts, let alone in the K-pop genre. By securing 550,000 ticket sales, TWICE has effectively redefined the ceiling for girl groups touring in the region.

The achievement is a clear sign that their audience is not just passionate—it is large enough to sustain long-term arena and stadium runs. This success puts them in an elite bracket of touring artists, proving that their appeal remains as strong as ever after years in the industry.

Next Stop: A Historic Tokyo Stadium Show

While North American audiences have finished their turn, the tour is far from over. TWICE is now preparing for a historic run in Japan. Starting on 25 April, the group will play three shows at the Japan National Stadium in Tokyo.

This appearance is notable for several reasons. TWICE will be the first foreign act to headline the stadium in its own right. With three sold-out dates, they are poised to extend their record-breaking streak internationally, showing that their dominance is not confined to the Western market.

It has been a busy period for the members, and with their upcoming Tokyo performances, they show no signs of slowing down. As they move from one milestone to the next, it is clear that TWICE remains a primary force in the global music scene.
