BLACKPINK’s LISA has launched her next solo era with ‘SaWaDiKa,’ a forceful rap-led single and Bangkok-shot music video that arrives ahead of her forthcoming EP, Press Play.
Named after the Thai greeting “sawadika,” meaning “hello,” the song sees the Thai rapper-singer reconnect with the sharp, confident delivery that has become a key part of her solo identity. “I’m that bitch on your TV/In my Ferrari, indigo/La Lalisa, la diva,” she raps over sputtering drums.
Produced by Thom Bridges, whose credits include work with KATSEYE and John Summit, alongside production and songwriting duo Ojivolta, “SaWaDiKa” is the first preview of Press Play. The EP will be released on 2 October through LLOUD Co. and RCA Records.
The accompanying visual was filmed in LISA’s hometown of Bangkok and directed by Korean K-pop video director Bang Jae Yeob. Across the video, Lisa takes in several recognisable locations in the Thai capital while wearing a series of high-fashion performance looks, including a red cut-out leather bodysuit and boxing shorts with “SaWaDiKa” set in rhinestone letters across the waistband.
‘SaWaDiKa’ is Lisa’s first solo single of , following May’s ‘Goals,’ released with Anitta and Rema for the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Album.

‘Always Lalisa’ Heads to Cinemas
The new single arrives as LISA prepares to bring her story to the big screen. Her feature documentary, Always Lalisa, will receive a limited IMAX and worldwide cinema release from 121 October, before arriving exclusively on YouTube Premium later this year.
Sony Music Vision will open ticket sales on September via AlwaysLaLisa.com. Sue Kim directs the film, which Trafalgar Releasing will distribute theatrically following its world premiere at the 202 Toronto International Film Festival.

Always Lalisa follows Lalisa Manobal — rapper, singer, dancer and actor — during a pivotal period in her career. Having stepped away from BLACKPINK for a year of independence for the first time since childhood, she confronts the uncertainty around her solo ambitions, acting projects and brand-building work, while trying to retain a personal life beyond the global spotlight before rejoining the group.
Lisa will also begin her Viva La Lisa Residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas later this year, with shows scheduled for 13, 1, and November.
