Netflix’s global competition series Physical: Asia may have aired its electrifying finale last month, but the show’s impact is still reverberating across the region. The Physical: 100 spinoff brought together eight powerhouse teams from across the continent, culminating in a tense November 18 showdown between Team Korea and Team Mongolia.

In the aftermath, fans continue to rally behind the breakout Mongolian squad—celebrating their grit, charisma, and camaraderie as they return to their respective athletic arenas.

Answering that outpouring of global support, the team behind the hit Korean reality format is taking the next step. On December 3, Netflix Korea confirmed that the Physical: Asia crew is heading to Ulaanbaatar for a travel-based spinoff, Physical: Welcome to Mongolia—a promise fulfilled from Team Mongolia to show their rivals and fans “their home country through their eyes.”

The four-part special will drop later this month, with the first two episodes landing on December 24, 2025, and the final two arriving on December 31, 2025.

While Netflix hasn’t yet confirmed a global release, the special is expected to follow Physical: Asia’s international rollout, streaming across multiple territories.

Physical: Welcome to Mongolia will reunite Team Korea captain Kim Dong-hyun, Physical: 100 Season 2 winner Amotti, Team Mongolia captain Orkhonbayar Bayarsaikhan, and acrobat Lkhagva-Ochir Erdene-Ochir. Fans can also look forward to the return of judo athlete Adiyasuren Amarsaikhan, basketball star Dulguun Enkhbat, and volleyball player Khandsuren Gantogtokh.

MMA fighter Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu’s participation remains uncertain, as he was reportedly competing in Thailand during filming—where he became the “ONE Banterweight MMA World Champion.”

Adding to the excitement, Australian strongman Eddie Williams appears in photos from the Physical: Welcome to Mongolia cast’s official meeting with the country’s prime minister, suggesting a surprise guest moment is on the way.

Per The Chosun Daily, the new spinoff will follow Bayarsaikhan as he welcomes Kim Dong-hyun and Amotti to experience “an authentic Mongolian-style journey, featuring not the typical scenes often seen in Mongolian content, but the actual places locals visit for leisure and popular eateries they frequent.”

The journey includes sweeping stops across Mongolia’s iconic grasslands, traditional archery, and horseback riding—blended with more intimate moments like “Orkhonbayar’s exclusive training methods” and a “homemade Mongolian family meal” prepared by Ochir.

The result? A reality travelogue that bridges competition and culture, offering a heartfelt look at what brings these world-class athletes together beyond the arena.
