BLACKPINK’s Lisa is set to join the cast of HBO’s critically acclaimed series The White Lotus for its third season. The show, known for its satirical examination of wealthy vacationers at exclusive resorts, will shift its setting to Thailand, Lisa’s native country, for the upcoming series.

The ensemble cast for Season 3 features a blend of returning and new faces, including Parker Posey, Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Dom Hetrakul, Tayme Thapthimthong, Scott Glenn, Julian Kostov, and Natasha Rothwell, who will reprise her role as Belinda, the luxury hotel masseuse.

Mike White, the creator of The White Lotus, serves as the executive producer and director. The show has been a hit for HBO, winning multiple Emmy Awards across its first two seasons. The collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand for the third season aims to showcase the country’s picturesque locations while continuing the series’ critique of luxury and privilege.

Lisa’s venture into acting comes after a successful career with Blackpink, the world’s leading K-pop girl group. The group, comprising Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, recently reaffirmed their unity by renewing their contract with their agency YG Entertainment, quelling rumors of a possible split.
