Netflix has just released its trailer for the highly anticipated live-action Cowboy Bebop feature film.

Starring John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, the series brings the classic anime to real-life.

Although the trailer is rather conservative in what it reveals about the show, the three protagonists are stylistically against a 70s theme backdrop pursuing a bounty in kick-ass fashion.

“Noodles first,” Cho says as Spike, ahead of embarking on an action filled sequence of bounty hunting.

Through its vibrant colours and comic book style visuals, it’s clear Netflix has tried to pay respect to the original anime, and its done so to perfection.

Whilst only serving as a teaser for what’s to come, the Cowboy Bebop trailer has us even more excited about what’s to come.

Last month, Cho said he was “blown away” after watching Cowboy Bebop for the first time.

Cowboy Bebop will be released exclusively on Netflix on 19 November 2021.
