The Frank Soo Foundation invites you to the Chinese Community Challenge Cup returns for its 10th tournament this summer. 32 teams in London and 8 teams in Birmingham will battle it out in the sun for glory and the chance to be crowned 5-a-side Kings of Great Britain.

Last year saw the introduction of Birmingham as a venue. The event, sponsored by Rainbow Casino, was a huge success and raised hundreds for the Birmingham Chinese Centre. This year it returns, on 23rd June 2019 in Birmimngham, to a new venue and it already looks to eclipse last year’s success with nearly double the teams registering their teams.

Returning, as always, is the South Cup based in Shepherd’s Bush, London on 29th June 2019. Empire Casino returns as the event’s sponsor. CCCFC B, who were stopped at the semi finals and incredibly close to winning last year’s Super Cup, return this year, along with other familiar faces such as Stan Lau’s God Squad. Last year’s South Cup Final was watched by Counciller Lu Hai Tain, of the People’s Republic of China’s London Embassy. The Counciller was awed by the talent on show and was keen on returning this year.

The Ladies Cup also returns this year on the same day as the South Cup. Last year saw the biggest number of teams sign up with 6 women’s 5-a-side teams competing it. London Lionesses dominated the tournament, will this year see the same?

The winners and semi-finalists of both the Birmingham and London tournaments will compete it out in the much coveted CCC Super Cup on 7th July 2019. This has been held in London for the last 9 years but this year moves to Birmingham. The teams are raring to go and time will tell who will be crowned Britain’s best 5-a-side team.
