Jeremy Lin wore a vintage Toronto Raptors jersey with Chinese characters for the team’s celebratory parade

Jeremy Lin was seen wearing a vintage Chinese Toronto Raptors jersey at the team’s celebratory parade.

The Toronto Raptors beat Golden State Warriors in six games to win the NBA finals – a first for the Canadian team.

Lin, who became the first Asian American NBA champion as a result of the win, was seen partying on one of the team’s busses at the parade on Monday.

Over two million flooded the streets of Toronto to celebrate the team’s first NBA championship.

Spraying fans with champagne from the top of a team bus, Lin was seen wearing a retro blue Toronto Raptors jersey with Chinese characters that translate to ‘Raptors’.

“Jeremy Lin repping his heritage and community in a Chinese Raptors jersey at the parade means a lot,” one fan said on Twitter.

“Mitchell and Ness is gonna make a mint on the T-Mac jersey Jeremy Lin is wearing,” another tweeted.

“Need that jersey! @Jlin7 hook it up please,” said one on Twitter. “I’ll pay egregiously for that Jeremy Lin Raptors jersey,” wrote another.

“We all thought the parade had started, then we got to the part it really started and it just got crazy,” Lin told NBA TV. “It’s amazing, as you can see, so much energy, so much buzz.

“We’re very grateful to our fans – this is a once in a lifetime opportunity the way they’ve rallied around our team.”

Lin was also seen asking fans to throw up their ‘Lin’ jerseys for him to sign.
