“Pls leave me and my tambourine grill alone. thank u.”

Ariana Grande accidentally tattooed the characters for a Japanese barbecue grill.

As reported by The Guardian, pop star Ariana Grande is being mocked for accidentally tattooing the characters for Japanese barbecue grill on her hand.

The vegan singer was attempting to pay tribute to her hit single ‘7 Rings’ but missed out a few key characters. When Grande posted an image of her new hand tattoo, social media was quick to mock her and tell her she now sported the Japanese for a small charcoal grill.

In the now deleted tweet, Grande eventually acknowledge she accidentally missed out some important characters.

“Indeed, I left out ‘つの指’ which should have gone in between. It hurt like fuck n still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol lmao,” she tweeted. “But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time.”

“Pls leave me and my tambourine grill alone. thank u,” she tweeted later.

Twitter users were quick to mock the 25-year-old singer’s mistake.

“Ariana Grande’s new tattoo “七輪” means Japanese style bbq grill, not 7 rings.  If you want to know about 七輪, just google “SHICHIRIN,” one Twitter user wrote.

“Ariana Grande got 七輪 tattooed on her hand thinking it means ‘7 rings’ I CAN’T BREATHE,” another tweeted.

“Ariana Grande bringing back misspelled Japanese character tats is peak 2000s nostalgia,” a tweeter mocked.

“Met with all the Asians, and our official ruling is that the Ariana Grande tattoo is good,” one Asian tweeter wrote.

In a follow-up Instagram story, Grande shared an image of her corrected tattoo saying, “Slightly better. Thanks to my tutor for helping me fix. RIP tiny charcoal grill. Miss u man. I actually really liked u.”
