Asian American Halloween costumes are winning the internet in 2018.

Today is Halloween – the time of year when you can dress as scary or as sexy as you please without anyone judging you.

This year, Asian Americans have taking a different approach. Instead of dressing as zombies, vampires, nurses, cops and robbers, Asian Americans are dressing as themselves.

Well, not quite themselves.

Drawing inspiration from this year’s successful Asian American TV shows and films, people are dressing up as characters from Crazy Rich Asians and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before

Even Asian American actors have inspired a number of costumes. Internet users have shared images of themselves dressed as Ken Jeong, Awkwafina and Ali Wong.

Many of these costumes have been spread like wild fire around social media. Below are our favourites so far.
