Agents of SHIELD actress Chloe Bennet has defended her boyfriend Logan Paul once again.

As reported by Entertainment Today, Agents of SHIELD actress Chloe Bennet defended her boyfriend Logan Paul at the Crazy Rich Asians premiere.

The premier for the all-Asian cast film took place on Tuesday night in LA. Speaking at the premier to ET, Bennet said that she has a strong connection with Paul.

“Logan and I connected on a level, on a significant level early on,” she said. “I think that, people make mistakes and if you can’t have room to grow from a mistake and if you can’t forgive people changing, I don’t think, really, we have anything. I think growth comes from making mistakes.”

Paul came under fire for posting a video featuring a dead body in Japan’s ‘Suicide Forest’. When asked why she would date someone with such a personality, Bennet responded, “cause he’s kind, creative, funny, vibrantly curious about life, weird as f**k in all the best ways, a big dork, and he’s one of my best friends. It doesn’t make sense to a lot of people but it doesn’t have [to]. He’s changed my life for the better and I’ve done the same for him.”

Speaking about Crazy Rich Asians, Bennet said, “I’m just so excited. I think the fact that Hollywood is finally [giving] the Asian community a movie like this, and honestly, I feel like we gave it to ourselves.”

A few months ago, Bennet discussed moving to China and her Asian features.

In related news, Resonate writer Louis Leung explained why he believes Crazy Rich Asians is our ‘Rorschach test’.
