Two people have been arrested for attacking a female Chinese student in Spain.

Last month we reported that female Chinese student Dantong Zhang was attacked in Malaga, Spain by “racist Spanish teens.”

Zhang had posted on Facebook saying that a group of Spanish students had hit her on the head repeatedly, mocking Asian accents. One person threw a cigarette at her.

In her post that garnered over 2,400 shares and 1,000 comments, Zhang had appealed for help to identify the attackers.

According to Shanghaiist, two people have finally been arrested in relation to the incident. The pair have not been publicly identified.
