Jim Lee will replace Geoff Johns as DC Entertainment’s Chief Creative Officer.

According to Comic Book, Geoff Johns will step down from his role as Chief Creative Officer at DC Entertainment, handing the baton to DC co-publisher Jim Lee.

Johns left the role to focus on writing and producing comics, TV shows and movies. He will still retain an active role with Warner Bros.

Lee has been incredibly successful in the comic book world for almost 30 years. ‘Wildstorm’ was amongst his most successful work, which he sold to DC in 1999. His most recent work was a short story in Action Comics #1000.

Earlier this year, Warner Bros appointed Asian American president Walter Hamada to head its production of DC films.
