100% singer Seo Min-woo has died at the age of 33.

Billboard reports that lead singer of Kpop boyband 100%, Seo Min-woo has died aged 33. The singer passed away at his home in Gangnam, Seoul, after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Seo had been one of the five members of 100% since the group’s debut in 2012 and was recognised as the band’s leader. Seo also appeared on the 2017 Korean TV reality series The Unit.

TOP Media, Seo’s label, posted a statement on their website saying he was found without a pulse in his home. First responders declared him dead upon arrival.

“His family, the 100% members, and the TOP Media artists and staff members are all grief-stricken and in mourning from the unexpected, sad news,” the statement reads.

It goes on to describe the singer as “warm hearted”.

100% have released four EPs, four single albums and nine singles. Their most recent EP as ‘Song For You’, released in February.

The Korea Herald reports that 100% are due to perform in Japan in Japan on April 21 and 30 but it is unconfirmed whether these shows will still be held.
