Jackie Chan and Jacky Cheung were pallbearers at the funeral of Hong Kong producer and manager Willie Chan.

Asia One reports that Chan, 77, died in his sleep on 25 October 2017.

The Hong Kong producer was Jackie Chan‘s longtime manager. He also managed Maggie Cheung, Cherie Chung, Jacky Cheung, Carol Cheng, Joey Wong, Tony Leung Ka Fai, Carina Lau, Simon Yam, Sylvia Chang and Joan Chen in the 80s and 90s.

Jackie Chan, Jacky Cheung, Ti Lung and Patrick Tse lent their services as pallbearers at the Christian ceremony. Hong Kong TV stars from the past and present including Raymond Chow and Emperor Group chairman Albert Yeung also attended the funeral.

The Straits Times adds that South Korean actor Lee Byung Hun, actor Donnie Yen, singer-actor Jaycee Chan, and producer Nanshun Shi also attended. Singers Andy Hui and Sammi Cheng, director Peter Chan and actress Sandra Ng sent wreathes.

Monetary gifts collected at the the funeral will be donated in Willie Chan’s name to charities Hong Kong AIDS Foundation and Rainbow of Hong Kong.

Last month, Jackie Chan posted a tribute to his “senior, brother” on Weibo: “Willie Chan is gone. Another of the most important people in my life has left. Many people know I wouldn’t be what I am now without you, but no one knows what we really experienced together. So long as we both know and understand.”
