BTS have made history by being the first Korean boy band to perform at the American Music Awards.

Last night, BTS took to the stage at the 2017 American Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The crowd erupted when The Chainsmokers introduced them on stage. “To be honest I’m a little bit nervous to announce this next performance,” Chainsmokers singer Andrew Taggart said to a roaring audience. “To call these guys international superstars is an understatement.”

Equipped with their iconic dance moves, BTS performed their hit ‘DNA’ from Love Yourself: Her. The Hollywood audience couldn’t help but dance.

BTS AKA Bangtan Boys AKA Beyond The Scene are also set to perform on The Late Late Show with James Corden as well as performing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live! later this month.

In other news, a television show in Columbia has been criticised for making a racist gesture during a broadcast about BTS.
