Hip hop lover Jeffrey Wan is amongst the 18 candidates in The Apprentice UK 2017.

Starting next week on Wednesday 4 October, 18 candidates will vie for Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment.

28-year-old London based Jeffrey Wan is a self confessed hip hop lover and break dancer. In his audition tape for The Apprentice, Wan is seen showing off his moves and confessing his love for the music genre.

“I’m a hip hop enthusiast,” Wan says. “I’m a 10 year veteran. I love hip hop in general. I’m a B-Boy and break dancer.”

As for his strategy to winning Lord Sugar’s investment, Wan says, “my game plan is to win this whole competition. it’s to bring passion, charisma and charm onto the table no matter what the task is.”

Wan also hopes to seek inspiration from British business magnate too. “Lord Sugar is a winner,” he says. “I’ve been taught when I was a kid, if you want to become a winner, you stick with winners.”

The aspiring entrepreneur also believes he can repay the 70-year-old business tycoon with break dance lessons. “To be honest, I think Lord Sugar is going to be a great break dancer. He’s going to help me out with the business side. Maybe I’ll help out with some dance moves. We’ll both head to the club and party a little bit.”

The Apprentice starts on Wednesday 4 October at 9pm on BBC1.

Last year, we interviewed Gisela Lee who revealed what the process of The Apprentice audition is like.
