Apple has opened its first store in Taiwan, located in Taipei 101.

The computer company behind the iPhone reports that crowds of customers gathered overnight at Taipei 101 to witness the grand opening of the store.

Opening its sliding glass doors on Saturday at 11am, employees welcomed its customers to experience Taiwan’s very first Apple store.

A workforce of 130 employees will staff the store at Taipei 101, a landmark skyscraper in the Taiwanese capital.

The new store will also offer visitors access to its ‘Today at Apple’ programs that teach topics such as photography, video, art, design, music and coding.

Apple also recently launched its first store in Singapore and has announced plans for a store in Korea. The computer giants are working to expand to India.
