The results are in – billionaire and reality TV star Donald Trump has just become the leader of the free world and the most powerful person on the planet. Winning over 70 electoral votes more than rival Hilary Clinton, the Republican ex-Apprentice host has won the battle in one of America’s most divisive elections.

Defying all bookies and polls, Trump has surprised the masses by securing victory in a number of states such as Ohio and North Carolina that were projected for a Democrat win. As a result, netizens have taken to social media to express their astonishment and vent their frustrations.

For the East Asian global community, the shock is shared and just like many of the community, Asian celebrities publicly shown their reactions via social media.
