BIGBANG’s film is viewed over 10 million times within 18 Hours in China

BIGBANG‘s 10th anniversary film, ‘BigBang Made’ garnered over 10 million views in China within 18 hours of its release.

Within three hours of its release, the film surpassed 8 million views on Chinese online video site Tencent.

The film was released at midnight on 25 July 2016. By 1820 on 25 July, the film attracted 10,240,000 views and 18,500 reviews. The k-pop film premiered in Korean theatres on 30 June, attracting 25,241 viewers.

The film mark’s the band’s first film, documenting the band’s return in 2015 following a three year hiatus. The band’s come-back international tour, Made World Tour, was seen by 1.5 million people. The movie documents the band’s journey from the beginning of the tour until the end, providing an intimate view of their 340 day tour. The band performed in 32 cities in 13 countries.

To add to the the band’s 10th anniversary celebrations, the k-pop group will be holding an anniversary concert, BIGBANG The Concert-0.TO.10, on 20 August at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

In related news, BIGBANG became the first Korean act to feature in Forbes’ World’s Highest Paid Celebrities 2016, with a net worth of $44 million.
