Fans have spent years asking when Manny Jacinto would finally get a proper romantic comedy showcase to himself. The wait is over. Vertical has released the official trailer for Love Language, an ensemble rom-com that places Jacinto square in the center of an escalating love tangle alongside Chloe Grace Moretz and Anthony Ramos.
Following its festival debut at SXSW earlier this spring, the feature heads to select cinemas and video-on-demand platforms on 23 October 2026.
Directed and written by Joey Power (After Everything), the plot follows Louisa “Lou” Klaussner, played by Moretz. Recovering from an abandoned engagement, the aspiring novelist turns her writing skills into a profitable freelance business composing custom wedding vows for engaged couples.
Her life gets chaotic when charismatic dater Dash (Ramos) starts pursuing her, while she crosses paths with her former university best friend and longtime crush, Warren, played by Jacinto.
The twist lands hard when Lou discovers Warren is preparing to marry Olivia, portrayed by Isabel May, who happens to be Lou’s newest wedding vow client.
From Sith Lord to Charming College Crush
Jacinto brings a warm, disarming energy to the role of Warren, a sharp turn from his villainous lightsaber duels in The Acolyte or his deadpan comedy turns in The Good Place.
The trailer highlights the unresolved history between Lou and Warren as they meet to draft the vows for his upcoming wedding. In one key exchange, Warren cuts through the small talk: “I was in love with you in college.”
That confession derails Lou’s professional detachment, sparking an intricate four-way romantic mess that tests loyalty and second chances.
A Sharp Ensemble Comedy Roster
Power rounds out the supporting cast with familiar comedy and television performers. Lukas Gage (The White Lotus), Billie Lourd (Booksmart), and Chloe Fineman (Saturday Night Live) appear as Lou’s close circle of confidants, friends, and editors.

Love Language arrives in select cinemas and on digital platforms on 23 October 2026.
