Kim Rieul, the celebrated fashion designer who dressed global superstars like BTS, has tragically died at the age of 32. The talented designer was found dead at his parents’ home in South Korea on Tuesday.

Rieul, a rising star in the fashion world, was renowned for his unique ability to blend traditional Korean aesthetics with contemporary Western styles. He gained international recognition for his innovative use of “hanbok” fabric, the traditional Korean clothing, which he transformed into stunning suits and avant-garde outfits.

One of his most iconic creations was a series of suits inspired by traditional Korean formal wear for BTS members Jimin, J-Hope, and Suga. The boy band wore these unique designs during a performance at Seoul’s historic Gyeongbokgung Palace for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” a spectacle that captivated audiences worldwide.

“We don’t know why he died,” his cousin said.

The designer’s untimely death has sent shockwaves through the fashion world and the K-pop community. He will be remembered for his innovative designs, his dedication to showcasing Korean culture on the global stage, and his immense talent.
