‘POWER’ is an explosive blend of hip-hop and high energy, with G-Dragon’s signature confidence shining through. As he declares in the song, “Guess who’s back/It’s your boy, GD!” The track was co-written by G-Dragon alongside some serious hitmakers: Tommy “TB Hits” Brown, Theron Thomas, and Steven Franks.

G-Dragon himself describes the song as a pure expression of his musical essence: “‘POWER’ manifests the essence of music,” G-Dragon said in a statement. “I express myself through music. This marks the beginning of a new era and I hope to inspire people who listen to my music.”

This partnership with EMPIRE signifies a new chapter for G-Dragon after leaving his longtime label, YG Entertainment, last year.

Ghazi, founder and CEO of EMPIRE, expressed his excitement about working with the K-Pop icon: “G-Dragon is a cultural force that has laid the foundation for K-Pop’s global dominance. This partnership reinforces our mission at EMPIRE to work alongside artists that will shape the future of global music.”

But the new music doesn’t stop there! Fans can expect more from G-Dragon, including a world tour and a performance at the MAMA Awards in Japan on November 23rd. This will be his first time performing at the awards show in nearly a decade.
