Chang’s past is shrouded in mystery, with a stint in Alcatraz and a family who believes him dead. But fate intervenes, bringing him together with Gizmo, Sam, and Elle. As he navigates the unfamiliar world of America, Chang will be their roguish guide while searching for a way back to his roots.

The second season, premiering on Max on October 3, takes place a year after the events of the first season. It follows Gizmo, Sam, and Elle as they travel from Shanghai to San Francisco, encountering new Mogwai and supernatural creatures on their journey.

John Glover, who played Daniel Clamp in Gremlins 2: The New Batch, will also return for a guest voice role. Executive producers Tze Chun and Brendan Hay hinted at a possible connection to the Clamp family ancestry.
