Fans are losing their minds over images of John Cho as Spike Speigel.

A few days ago, Netflix released a bunch of stills from the upcoming Cowboy Bebop series.

Cho stars as bounty hunter Spike Spiegel, a former hitman of the criminal Red Dragon Syndicate and part of the original crew.

Originally released in 1998, Shinichirō Watanabe and Keiko Nobumoto’s 26-episode anime series is praised for its deep plot and stylistic animation. Set in the year 2071, the series follows the lives of a bounty hunter crew in their spaceship ‘Bebop’.

As the stills began circling around the internet, social media users have declared their excitement for the series, mainly because of Cho.

“obviously we have yet to see what the quality of the show will be like but god damn john cho is so hot,” tweeted one person.

“he whole selling point of the cowboy bebop live action film is “john cho is hot,” and like, yeah. you released promotional photos of john cho looking smoking hot in the blue spike suit. that’s all i need, friend…. thanks and bye,” another tweeted.

“I am so distracted today because John Cho is so hot and my brain is so small.” said another.

“these set photos do nothing for me honestly except for the fact that John Cho is just really hot,” one person commented.

i don’t know anything about c*wboy b*bop but john cho looks hot as hell in these photos that have come out,” tweeted another.

I always thought John Cho was a cutie but those Cowboy Bebop photos are like…WHEW. Hot,” said another.

Cowboy Bebop will be released exclusively on Netflix on 19 November 2021.

In other news, Marvel’s first Asian-led movie Shang-Chi is attracting extremely positive reviews.
