Twitch streamer Lannie AKA Ohlana has died by an apparent suicide at the age of 26.

With over 100,000 Twitch followers and 186,000 followers on Instagram, Ohlana garnered a large following for her gaming content.

The Vietnamese Canadian gamer would often stream Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Valorant, as well as real-life travelling vlogs.

Just days prior to her death, Ohlana went live on Twitch on a stream titled ‘need sum luv :'(’. Ohlana also drew concern from her followers after tweeting “depressed ppl struggle to reach out in fear the ones closest to them will have cops show up and forcefully confine them against their will.”

“So they’re stuck feeling alone with their dark thoughts because they don’t want to be trapped where they just feel worse,” she continued.

In another tweet, Ohlana simply wrote, “it’s nobody’s fault.”

On Instagram stories, Ohlana wrote a post titled ‘The Next Chapter’ in which she said, “Thank you for everything. Take care of yourselves. And I say this cheesy quote so often it might annoy peeps… but if you can’t seem to find a kind person, be one.”

Two other Twitch streamers took their own lives over the past week – Kenny ‘Blue622’ Tancredi and Byron ‘Reckful’ Bernstein died aged 30 and 31 respectively.
