A man in LA’s Koreatown was caught on camera spewing racist hate towards an Asian worker amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

In the clip uploaded by Instagram @jackfroot, the man is seen at a convenience store shouting at an Asian woman behind the counter.

“Asians are dirty as a motherfucker,” the man says. “Asians are fucking bums.”

Crimes towards Asian Americans in Los Angeles have surged during the Coronavirus pandemic.

In the caption, the Instagrammer said the man began his racist tirade “out of nowhere.”

“The Asian woman did nothing wrong and was just working,” @jackfroot writes.

The identity of the man is unknown thus far and the Instagrammer encourages people to get in touch if they have information.

“I feel so bad for the woman. It’s sad that we will most likely be dealing with things like this for years to come. If anyone knows the identity of the black man, please DM or email us.”

Hate crimes towards Asians have been rising since the outbreak of the pandemic. A report by the Human Rights Watch has shown that Coronavirus is fuelling anti-Asian hate.
