BBC reports that South Korean actor Cha In-ha has died at the age of 27.

Cha was found dead at his home in Seoul but the cause of death has not been released. His agency Fantagio has urged people to not speculate on the cause of his death. Cha was part of Fantagio’s acting group Surprise U.

The 27-year-old star is best known for his recent appearance in TV series Love With Flaws. His debut film was You, Deep Inside of Me in 2017.

In a statement, Fantagio said, “we are truly heartbroken to deliver sad news to everyone who has sent lots of love and support to Cha In Ha until now. We are filled with grief at this news that is still hard to believe.”

“We earnestly ask for rumours to not be spread and for speculative reports to not be released in order for his family, who is experiencing greater sadness more than anyone due to the sudden sad news, to send him away peacefully.

“As wished by his family, the funeral will be held privately. We express deep mourning for his passing.”

At the end of last month,  Kpop star Goo Hara died at the age of 28, sparking revenge porn concerns.
