Insider reports that Instant Pot has released a series of Star Wars themed rice cookers.

Just in time for Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker, which releases on 20 December 2019, these unique rice cookers are modelled on some of the most iconic characters in the saga

With 5 different galactic designs, these rice cookers are a must-buy for every Star Wars fan who loves their rice. The space-opera themed appliances are available now at Williams Sonoma.

The ‘Star Wars Instant Pot Duo Mini BB-8’ is the smallest available rice cooker and is priced at $80. Although not spherical for obvious reason, the rice cooker is designed with the droid’s signature orange, grey and white colour scheme.

The Force Awakens character’s rice cooker has seven functions: pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, sauté pan, yogurt maker, and warmer. Additionally it has 11 built-in food programs, including slow cook, soup/broth, and keep warm.

The bigger rice cookers come in the form of R2-D2, Darth Vader and Stormtrooper. Priced at $100 each, the rice cookers match their respective character’s colour schemes. ‘Instant Pot Duo R2-D’ even resembles the droid’s actual shape.

Finally, the biggest rice cooker in the collection is the Wookie inspired Chewbacca. The $120 appliance has an extensive range of functions with 13 smart built-in programs.

In related news, a merchandise company recently brought back  Kelly Marie Tran’s character – Rose Tico – on their T-shirts following a controversy surrounding her exclusion.
