Eater NY reports that David Chang’s Momofuku restaurant is planning to launch an Asian-American slider joint.

In an interview with The Times, Momofuku CEO Marguerite Zabar Mariscal revealed that the company is planning to expand its brand.

The company, which earns almost $100 million in revenue per year, already has a wide range of brands under its belt.

From Bang Bar serving flatbreads to Fuku’s fried chicken to Ssäm Bar’s Singapore influence to Peach Mart – a Japanese convenience store – Momofuku Group is already serving the Asian community well.

For its next move, Momofuku is planning to enter the burger business. Mariscal described the concept as “an Asian-American White Manna” – a New Jersey hamburger shop.

Mariscal did not reveal when or where the slider restaurant will be opened but it certainly has the potential to be Momofuku’s next big thing.
