Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore celebrated Charlie’s Angels anniversary with Lucy Liu

E! reports that Lucy Liu was joined by Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore to celebrate the anniversary of 2000’s Charlie’s Angels.

The reunion occurred at Liu’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony, where she became the second Asian American to be given a star.

Liu was seen surrounded by Charlie’s Angels co-stars Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore at the event. Demi Moore, who starred in Charlie’s Angels 2 also made an appearance.

Moore, who inducted Liu into the Walk Of Fame’s list of actors said in a speech, “Lucy and I first met while making Charlie Angles—I didn’t know we were going to have a reunion today. I could see she was in fact as I had heard a badass with brains.”

“Then the better I got to know her I realized she wasn’t just about a badass with brains, she was a badass with brains, a beautiful heart with a deep loving soul and a damn good sense of humor.”

At the event Liu said, “my dear Angels. It’s a 20 year reunion. Twenty years ago, we were an elite crime fighting team and now look at us!”

“Today there is so much more representation on screen,” she added. “Now, he can see himself in this world and he won’t know there is a limit. I never set out to be groundbreaking. I didn’t have the goal of being a first. I just wanted to what I loved.”

On Instagram, Liu shared a picture of her with Diaz and Barrymore, “Charlie’s Angels reunion!!! 20 years ago were were forming an elite crime fighting team. Thanks to @DrewBarrymore and @CameronDiazfor always being my angels!”
