A teaer for the Ali Wong and Randall Park’s upcoming rom-com has just dropped

Comedian Ali Wong has shared the first trailer for her upcoming Netflix rom-com with Randall Park titled Always Be My Maybe.

Wong shared a teaser clip of the film featuring Park and herself on her Instagram account.

The plot follows Sasha (Wong), a celebrity chef in San Francisco and Marcus, a struggling musician named Marcus (Park) who lives at home working for his father. Sasha and Marcus, who were once childhood sweethearts, run into each other after 15 years of not speaking to each other.

In the clip Wong shared, Marcus is seen drafting a text to Sasha confessing his love for her, but does not send it. However, when the pair meet up, Sasha tells Marcus how she is seeing someone new.

The film also stars Daniel Dae Kim and Keanu Reeves.

Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off The Boat) is directing the film from a script written by Wong, Park and Michael Golamco. Nathan Kahane and Erin Westerman will produce and Brendan Ferguson will be the executive producer.

Always Be My Maybe will be available on Netflix on 31 May.
