John Cho received a drunk video message from some of the biggest Asian American film stars

Searching star John Cho received a drunk message from some of the biggest stars in the Asian American community.

Shortly after news broke that Cho will be starring in a Netflix remake of Cowboy BebopFresh Off The Boat actress Constance Wu shared a drunk video message she sent to Cho after the Critics’ Choice Awards.

In the intoxicated video, Wu is joined by Crazy Rich Asians stars and director Ken Jeong, Harry Shum Jr., Chris Pang and Jon M Chu as well as Killing Eve star Sandra Oh saying hello to Cho.

Although Wu thought the clip was “too drunky to post,” she decided to post it after thinking “why the fuck not?”

The 37-year-old wrote in the caption: “Just found this video in my text convo with @johnthechothought maybe it was too drunky to post but then I was like eh, why the fuck not? WE LOVE YOU John!! So psyched to see you as Spike!#cowboybebop@iamsandraohinsta @kenjeong@jonmchu @harryshumjr @pangeerz

The group of Asian American stars are heard shouting, “it’s John Choooooo, its f**king John Choooo, love you,” in the clip.
