Fans are getting a first glimpse at Constance Wu’s stripper character from upcoming film Hustlers.

Pictures from upcoming stripper drama Hustlers showing Constance Wu‘s character have surfaced online.

According to Hollywood Life, the Fresh Off The Boat star was photographed on the first day of filming in New York on 22 March.

Wearing ripped leather pants, orange boots and a zip-up jacket with a fur and straightened hair, Wu certainly transformed from her role as Rachel Chu in Crazy Rich Asians.

Not much is known about Wu’s character in Hustlers but the film is reportedly set in New York City during the 2000s financial crisis. The film, which also stars Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B, centres on strip club employees who team up to scam Wall Street Clients. Cardi B will make her first film appearance in the movie.

“A lot of women here, they taught me to be more powerful,” Cardi said. “I did gain, like, a passion and love [for] performing,” Cardi said. “It made me feel pretty… I’m glad for this chapter in my life. A lot of people always want to make fun of me — ‘Oh, you used to be a stripper!’ — I don’t ever regret it, because I learned a lot. I feel like it matured me. My biggest ambition was money. That’s what these women put in my head: nothing is important but the money.”
