The average amount an Asian American household makes has been researched and reported.

Globe Newswire has revealed how much more money an Asian American household makes compared to a typical US one.

Claritas LLC’s ‘The Asian American Market Report’ looked into the buying behavior of Asian Americans in order to provide data for markers.

“The face of America is evolving, and marketers need to recognize how population and demographic changes in the United States will affect their business success in the coming years,” said Karthik Iyer, COO at Claritas.

“Claritas can help marketers understand exactly how to target specific customer segments such as Asian Americans – often with amazing results.”

Since 2000, Asian Americans have grown 84% – becoming the fastest-growing population in the US. The demographic is expected to add 1,323 new members every day from 2019 to 2024. In contrast, caucasians are expected to lose 65 members every day in the next five years.

On average Asian American households have an income of $116,319, which is 36% higher than the average US household income.

24% of Asian households will earn $150,000 or more in 2019.

In related news, over 700 people recently signed a high school petition for Asian American studies to be taught.
