‘Crazy Rich Asians’ actor Chris Pang joins ‘Charlie’s Angels’ reboot

Chris Pang has joined the cast of Sony’s Charlie’s Angels reboot.

Variety reports that Crazy Rich Asians actor Chris Pang has joined the cast of Sony’s Charlie’s Angels remake.

Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska will star as the angels. Jonathan Tucker, Sam Claflin, Noah Centineo, Nat Faxon and Luis Gerardo Mendez will also feature.

The plot features a new generation of Angels who work for Charlie. The Townsend Agency has gone global, providing security services to a number of clients around the world.

Patrick Stewart, Djimon Hounsou and Elizabeth Banks will play the antagonist Bosley characters. Banks, who wrote the script with Jay Basu, is also directing the film.

Banks and Max Handelman will produce the reboot too.

The film has a release date of 1 November 2019.
