Ming-Na Wen, Reggie Lee and Jimmy O. Yang will guest star in an upcoming episode of Fresh Off The Boat.

According to EW, Ming-Na Wen, Reggie Lee and Jimmy O. Yang will appear in an episode of Fresh Off The Boat.

The Asian American actors will play another Asian family in the Huang’s Orlando neighbourhood, making the Huangs realise they are not alone.

Titled ‘Mo’ Chinese Mo’ Problems’, the episode will introduce the trio as Evan (Ian Chen) discovers them as part of his door-to-door role in the United States Census.

Wen (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D) will play Elaine, Jessica’s (Constance Wu) Chinese BFF. Lee (Grimm) will play Julius who shares Louis’s (Randall Park) American dream. Meanwhile, Yang (Silicon Valley, Crazy Rich Asians) will play Elaine and Julius’s son Horace, who went to Harvard at 16.

The fifth season of Fresh Off the Boat begins 5 October on ABC.

In related news, Randall Park recently described the lack of Asian American representation on TV as “unfortunate”.
