Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina will host Saturday Night Live next month with Seth Meyers.

Vulture reports that Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina will team up with Late Night host Seth Meyers to host Saturday Night Live.

Season 44 of SNL begins this weekend. Adam Driver will host the first episode with musical guest Kanye West. Awkwafina and Meyers will host the show on 6 October with Travis Scott as a musical guest.

Seth Meyers will return on 13 October with musical guest Paul Simon. The date also marks Simon’s 77th birthday.

Crazy Rich Asians co-star Ken Jeong used Instagram to express his excitement to see Awkwafina on SNL.

“Words can’t express how happy I am for @awkwafina hosting @nbcsnl!!!!!!!!!!!” Jeong wrote in the caption. “There is no one more authentic, real and funny than @awkwafina

Recently, Awkwafina said the cast of Crazy Rich Asians “became a family.”

Awkwafina replied to the post, “I LOVE U DAD.”
