"Are we talking about oral sex?"
Gemma Chan has jokingly said she would like Scarlett Johansson to play her in a biopic.
In a Guardian interview, Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan said jokingly that she would want Scarlett Johansson to play her in a movie.
Chan was asked a variety of questions including “Is it better to give or to receive?”, to which she replied, “are we talking about oral sex? I’ll just say I think we all know the answer.“
When asked, “who would play you in the film of your life?” Chan responded, “Scarlett Johansson. Just kidding.”
Johansson earned notoriety in the Asian community for ‘whitewashing’ by taking on the role of cyborg policewoman Major Motoko Kusanagi in the live action remake of Ghost In The Shell.
The Avengers star also recently made headlines by taking on a role of a trans man in upcoming film Rub And Tug, although she has since exited the role.
Elsewhere in the interview, Chan said she would use her superpowers to undo Brexit. “Time travel – I’d go back to June 2016 and deface the buses that said: “We send the EU £350m a week; let’s fund the NHS instead”,” she responded when asked what her superpower would be.
She also took the opportunity to take a swing at Trump. “What’s the worst thing anyone has said to you?” the interviewer asked. “Donald Trump has been elected president.” Chan replied.
The Humans actress also revealed she has sex “as often as possible” and “listens to classical music and [does] 1,000-piece jigsaws,” to relax.
Chan will be appearing in the upcoming all-Asian film Crazy Rich Asians, which opens on 15 August. The hashtag #GoldOpen is making rounds on social media in the hope of driving people to the cinema to watch the film.
