Keanu Reeves, Daniel Dae Kim join Randall Park and Ali Wong in rom-com ‘Always Be My Maybe’

Keanu Reeves and Daniel Dae Kim will join Ali Wong and Randall Park in upcoming Netflix rom-com Always Be My Maybe.

Last August, we reported that Ali Wong and Randall Park will be starring as a couple in Netflix rom-com Always Be My Maybe. According to Deadline, Keanu Reeves and Daniel Dae Kim are now set to join the cast of the film as well.

The plot follows a celebrity chef in San Francisco named Sasha (Wong) and a struggling musician named Marcus (Park) who lives at home working for his father. Sasha and Marcus, who were once childhood sweethearts, run into each other after 15 years of not speaking to each other.

Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off The Boat) is directing the film from a script written by Wong, Park and Michael Golamco. Nathan Kahane and Erin Westerman will produce and Brendan Ferguson will be the executive producer.

Other cast members include Michelle Buteau, Vivian Bang, Karan Soni (Deadpool 2), Charlyne Yi (Paper Heart), James Saito, Lyrics Born, and Susan Park (Vice Principals).

Netflix will roll the film out in 2019.
