WATCH: Jack Ma’s film Gong Shou Dao starring Donnie Yen and Jet Li for free

You can now watch Gong Shou Dao featuring Alibaba CEO Jack Ma, Jet Li and Donnie Yen for free.

Gong Shou Dao, which translates to “The Art of Attack and Defence” was released on Singles Day, 11 November, with a 7-minute trailer being shown at the 2017 Singles Day Gala.

Jack Ma and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story‘s Donnie Yen star in the film, as well as martial art film veteran Jet Li, who will produce the film.

None of the actors in the film will take a pay check from it.



The Alibaba CEO is seen practising Tai chi in the film – a traditional Chinese martial art that he has been studying since 1988.

Alibaba spokeswoman said: “As a passionate Tai-chi practitioner, Jack took part in the movie to promote this traditional Chinese martial art as well as the positive philosophy it embodies.”

“He believes the spiritual and physical benefits of tai chi should be shared across the world and used to promote exercise and wellness and cultural exchanges among people of different cultures.”

Ma posted the film’s promotional poster with the caption “That night… That dream!”.

“[The film’s] primary aim is to globally promote Tai Chi because of its benefits to health and happiness and as a window onto Chinese culture,” the a statement from Alibaba read.
